Who We Are
SecureRights is a third-party verification service dedicated to protecting consumers from fraud and privacy violations. We work with businesses displaying the SecureRights logo, such as the one whose website you were transferred from. We provide a secure platform for these businesses to manage and oversee the collection and transfer of consumer information. SecureRights verifies information submitted through its system by individual consumers seeking information about financial products and services from participating businesses.
Information We Collect
When you inquire about financial products or services through a website displaying the SecureRights logo, you may be asked to enter both personal and non-personal information. Depending on the type of products or services you’re inquiring about, you may need to provide personal and financial details such as your name, phone number, Social Security number, email address, income, and other financial information.
SecureRights will never request or collect data related to medical or health conditions; racial or ethnic origin; political, religious, or philosophical beliefs or affiliations; trade union membership; or sexual orientation. We will not sell or share any personal information about you with any third party except as authorized by you, as needed to connect you with financial product and service providers who participate in the SecureRights system, or as required by law.
SecureRights technology also collects aggregate data on system usage, including anonymous user information, the number of visitors, visit dates and times, and unique IP addresses of the computers that access our system.
If you contact SecureRights through the “Contact Us” feature, participation is entirely voluntary. You may choose to disclose personal information such as your name, mailing address, or email address. This information will not be sold to any person or organization. However, it may be shared with other relevant parties to help resolve the issue you reported. The same applies if you file a complaint through SecureRights regarding suspected fraud or a privacy violation.
How Your Information Is Used
When you submit an inquiry about a loan or other product through a website displaying the SecureRights logo, you are authorizing SecureRights to share your inquiry and personal information with participating businesses that offer relevant financial products or services. These businesses compete for the opportunity to provide you with those services. By submitting your information, you also authorize them to contact you via email or telephone with information matching your inquiry.
SecureRights will not share your information with unrelated third parties or use it for any other purpose. However, we do not control how the businesses we share your information with may use it, including whether they sell or further share your information. Additionally, websites displaying the SecureRights logo may be operated by businesses outside our direct control. These businesses, such as the one you transferred from, may have access to your information.
Although SecureRights encourages all participants in our network to adopt responsible privacy and marketing practices, we are not responsible for their actions or the actions of their partners. Their collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information are subject to their respective privacy policies, which may differ from ours. Before submitting your information, we recommend reviewing the privacy policy of the originating website.
As part of our anti-fraud system, SecureRights may contact you directly to verify your inquiry. By submitting your contact information, including your phone number and email address, you authorize SecureRights to reach out to confirm your identity and interest in the financial products or services you requested. We may do this to ensure that the information was not submitted fraudulently or in error.
SecureRights may release your account or other personal information if we believe it’s appropriate to comply with a subpoena, legal requirement, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SecureRights or others. This may include sharing information with other companies or organizations for fraud prevention.
